Job summary

Actalent in Plainville, MA is seeking a contract-based Engineer to support commissioning, field execution of documents, and turnover packages for manufacturing utilities. The role covers facilities/utility activities during tech transfers, project management of small initiatives, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOPs.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical distribution, environmental chambers, and clean utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering field.
• Experience with HVAC operations and related facility systems.
• Familiarity with cGMP regulations and SOPs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interact with installing contractors and perform field execution of commissioning documents and generate field reports, punch lists, summary reports and final turnover packages.
• Assist facilities/utilities activities during Tech Transfers of new products into the Manufacturing facility.
• Manage small operational projects.
• Assist in the development of requirements of new equipment, modifications, and projects that affect the utility systems.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with cGMP regulations and company SOPs.
• Respond to utility and equipment related issues during production.
• Act as Responsible Engineer for utility system(s).
• Create and maintain relationships with other sites to develop and promote best practice.
• Specify and implement modifications to improve operational performance and compliance.
• Uphold safety procedures and safe practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Plainville, MA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
