Job summary

HP PageWide Industrial Division seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical/electro-mechanical hardware for high-volume digital printing presses. You will create designs using HP’s 3D and 2D CAD tools and coordinate with Customers, R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing to bring products from concept to reality.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop test plans, validate tolerances, and ensure safe, reliable, cost-effective solutions across the full design cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of mechanical design experience.
• Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines.
• Experience delivering across design cycle from concept to manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware.
• Develop test plans and validate tolerances, EMI, safety.
• Lead cross-functional project teams.
• Collaborate with management and partners on design status.
• Represent mechanical design in all development phases.
