Apogee Consulting Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate building mechanical systems, prepare construction documents, and serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with critical thinking, collaboration, and sound engineering judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum four years of related experience as a licensed professional.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building systems, including HVAC equipment, ductwork, hydronic piping, controls, and associated systems.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
• Direct and mentor designers in the development of mechanical system designs and construction documents.
• Perform engineering calculations and evaluations for system and equipment design.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
• Review product data submittals, respond to RFIs, and perform other construction-period services.
