Job summary

W3Global in New Jersey is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to improve manufacturing equipment, processes, quality, and overall operational efficiency. You will work closely with production and shop floor teams to troubleshoot issues and implement engineering solutions.

Responsibilities include designing and improving mechanical systems, applying Lean practices (5S, Kaizen), supporting CNC machining, welding, and fabrication, and maintaining CAD drawings in AutoCAD and SolidWorks while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
3-7+ years of manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with CNC machining, lathes, welding, fabrication, and shop environments.
Experience with industrial equipment or heavy machinery preferred.
ERP experience is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical equipment, systems, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Evaluate production workflows to identify waste, delays, bottlenecks, and efficiency opportunities.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen.
Provide hands-on support for machining, CNC, welding, fabrication, and assembly operations.
Work directly with shop floor personnel to resolve equipment and production problems.
Track production performance and establish KPIs related to efficiency and quality.
