Job summary

Miltec UV Corporation in Stevensville, Maryland is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and qualify electromechanical components for UV curing systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust sub-assemblies and ensure they meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.

Travel is limited to about 10% domestic and 5% international. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• BSME degree and 3–5 years of experience in custom equipment manufacturing.
• Experience in electro‑mechanical packaging.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong communication and independent work skills.
• Ability to travel 10% domestic and 5% international.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and install subsystems.
• Working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems; optics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and qualify UV curing equipment components.
• Create PRDs from input from Customers, Sales, Manufacturing, Field Service, and Process Engineering.
• Coordinate and direct the creation of all project documentation and test plans.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers on machine control systems.
• Travel as required (approximately 10% domestic and 5% international).
