Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment design and operation.
• Experience with equipment design, testing, IQ/OQ/FAT, and process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working with external vendors and equipment suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain engineering knowledge bases including processes and documentation.
• Create and evaluate setup documentation used in production operations.
• Design equipment utilization plans balancing time and cost.
• Develop equipment and process designs with drawings and BOMs.
• Create design schedules and manage milestones for timely completion.
• Inspect incoming equipment and perform FAT prior to shipment.
• Create and maintain manuals for equipment and custom job orders.
• Maximize standardization while maintaining flexibility for customized designs.
• Build and maintain systems for continuous improvement in batch processing design.
• Develop policies outlining responsibilities and recurring tasks.
