Job summary

BRPH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist on engineering projects across sectors. The role involves performing design and calculation tasks, preparing drawings with AutoCAD and Revit, and supporting energy modeling work in line with project needs.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and has at least two years of mechanical engineering experience, with proficiency in relevant software and energy codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of two years experience as a mechanical engineer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering projects by performing duties to develop professional engineering knowledge and abilities.
• Conduct design and calculation tasks based on standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Prepare reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates, and permits under supervision.
• Perform CAD drafting to produce working drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Review discipline drawings and coordinate with other project drawings and specs.
• Assist in preparing design budgets, marketing proposals and cost estimates.
• Support client contact and communication pertaining to projects.
