Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Ground Support Equipment and Charge Team. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept and CAD modeling to prototyping, testing, and managing the engineering data package.

You'll create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs for EV charging systems, collaborate with design, manufacturing, ERP, and production teams, and process ECRs while supporting prototyping and shop floor activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on prototyping experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to pivot quickly between projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs for EV charging systems.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, ERP, Production Control, and Assembly teams to develop concepts, implement changes, and maintain the TDP.
• Generate and process Engineering Change Requests for new designs or modifications.
• Support prototyping, testing, and shop floor activities.
