Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in mechanical design within a sealing technology or elastomer manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (FEA).
Experience with API standards and Oil & Gas sealing requirements is highly desirable.
Familiarity with creating and managing part numbers, BOMs, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed mechanical design work, including 3D modeling and simulations (e.g., thermal, stress).
Create detailed engineering and assembly drawings for manufacturing, ensuring designs meet input specifications.
Conduct technical analysis and resolve engineering issues per customer and industry requirements.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, marketing, sales, and project management to integrate design requirements.
Design new elastomer seals for pressure control and BOP applications and improve existing products.
