KOCH Finishing Systems seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of automated paint finishing projects from concept through startup. You will collaborate with customers, estimators, project managers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery within budget and per specifications.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, hands-on experience with finishing equipment, and proficiency in Autodesk tools.

Competenze

• Demonstrated innovation and continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in Autodesk products AutoCAD, Inventor, Advance Steel, and Navisworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in a second language is a plus.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with estimating team during preliminary engineering, project pursuit and proposal phases.
• Take accountability for all design aspects of projects and supervise engineering and design team members.
• Prepare comprehensive system layouts, floor plans, P&IDs, and mass balances for major projects.
• Provide engineering leadership throughout design reviews, quality inspections, installation, and startup phases.
• Ensure equipment and materials meet contract performance objectives, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
