Job summary

Amos Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a mechanical engineer to design, develop, and improve our machinery and equipment.

You will work on multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and simulation tools like ANSYS or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
• Experience with manufacturing processes, materials, and standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for machinery and equipment and integrate these machines and equipment as components within larger systems as required.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and service.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, procurement, sales, and service teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
