Qualifications

• Professional qualifications - Accredited Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Ocean/Structural
• Relevant engineering experience in subsea oil and gas - 5+ years
• Familiarity with ABS, DNV, ASME codes and standards
• Finite element analysis programs
• Material selection and technical calculations
• 3D modeling software
• Excellent interpersonal skills and personal organization
• Strong background in mechanical/hydraulic design engineering with ROV/diver exposure
• Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor

Responsibilities

• Solve problems with practical answers from enquiry through concept, design, delivery and close out
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary team; interface with clients and suppliers
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products to customers
• Explain benefits of products to customers and prospects
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and provide support
• Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
• Assist clients with installed equipment issues
• Provide bid input and pricing for external and internal tenders
• Develop bid documents including storyboard and methodology
