Job summary

Alatas America is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team in a hands-on, early-career role. You will support design, analysis, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical components and lifting systems for crane applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
  • 1–2 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawings.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Design and create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Perform engineering calculations including stress analysis and crane-related calculations.
  • Develop test plans, engineering documents, and schematic drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and improve performance.
  • Support documentation and compliance with engineering standards and safety.
