Job summary

Alatas America is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team in a hands-on, early-career role. You will support design, analysis, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical components and lifting systems for crane applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
1–2 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawings.
Proficiency in Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
Design and create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Perform engineering calculations including stress analysis and crane-related calculations.
Develop test plans, engineering documents, and schematic drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and improve performance.
Support documentation and compliance with engineering standards and safety.
