Job summary

Required: pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 1 year completed; preferred: 3.0 GPA, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Must have completed at least 1 year of a Bachelor's program.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• General mechanical aptitude and interest in applying engineering principles to real-world projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good problem-solving, initiative, organization, and planning; able to work in a team; no travel limitations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project mechanical specifications and summaries for design packages.
• Review equipment vendor drawings and support construction activities at manufacturing sites.
• Support engineers in the development of mechanical equipment specifications and construction drawings.
• Contribute to the development of equipment checkout plans and support project checkout and startup at manufacturing sites.
• Apply basic project management skills to help coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with other Mechanical Engineers and project team members to solve problems and implement practical engineering solutions.
