Role Overview

Are you proud of your precision machining skills? At KMM Group, Ltd., we manufacture high-precision parts for medical devices and aerospace systems. We seek a Mechanical Engineering graduate passionate about CNC machining to set up and operate complex CNC Multi-Axis Mill-Turn machines. If you excel in problem-solving, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement, this is your chance to make a difference.

Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate advanced multi-axis CNC Mill-Turn machines (8–11 axes).
2. Interpret blueprints, routers, and setup documentation to plan and execute jobs.
3. Program, modify, and optimize NC code for peak performance.
4. Perform inspections and verify parts meet quality standards and specifications.
5. Troubleshoot issues, suggest improvements, and support lights-out manufacturing.
6. Maintain clean, organized work areas and uphold safety practices.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering graduate with focus on CNC machining.
• Knowledge of NC code and machine controls (Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi).
• Experience with CNC Mills and Lathes; DMG equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and blueprints with GD&T.
• Experience with cutting tool selection and machining various materials like Stainless Steel, High Temp Alloys, Aluminum & Titanium.
• Understanding of setup sheets, tooling, speeds/feeds, and in-process inspections.
• Bonus: Passion for creating complex parts, problem-solving, process improvement, and experience with regulated manufacturing standards such as ISO 13485 or AS9100.
