Job summary

SERES is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Milpitas, CA to join our engineering team designing advanced mechanical systems for premium electric vehicles. You will assist with 3D modeling in CATIA and contribute to product design, analysis, and validation under senior engineers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years hands-on design experience, strong fundamentals in mechanics of materials, GD&T, and prototyping. You will collaborate across teams to move concepts from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 3D CAD modeling and drafting with CATIA (or equivalent CAD tools).
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanics of materials.
• Exposure to GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Great teamwork and communication skills.
