Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Poultry Division in Gainesville, GA. This onsite role offers a hybrid schedule: four days in the office and one day from home.

You will lead CAD document migration, review drawings, and act as an SME on the transitioned product line, collaborating with global teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of SolidWorks experience, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of SolidWorks experience.
• Experience with 3D design tools and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of CAD documents to Gainesville, GA.
• Coordinate with engineering team in India.
• Review drawings and provide feedback to leadership.
• Create and update spare parts drawings for the product line.
• Research and organize migrated engineering databases.
• Determine whether components should be manufactured internally or sourced externally.
• Design production-ready spare parts.
• Utilize SolidWorks to update drawings; support legacy equipment with ProE.
