JBT Marel Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer for our hybrid Gainesville, GA facility. You will develop detailed engineering layouts, compile packages, and review BOMs to ensure accuracy and alignment with project scope.

The role involves collaboration with Sales, Innovation, and Project Management to resolve issues and confirm feasibility. Ideal candidates have a degree, AutoCAD experience, and 1+ years in a related field, with project experience and Agile PLM familiarity being a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred for technical or engineering field.
• AutoCAD experience or similar CAD tools required or preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant engineering or technical experience.
• Project experience is preferred for handling complex initiatives and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed engineering layouts and documentation based on proposal requirements and customer needs.
• Prepares complete engineering packages including updated layouts, specifications, and project documentation.
• Reviews BOMs and technical details to ensure system accuracy and alignment with project scope.
• Translates proposal concepts into finalized engineering requirements and identifies gaps needing clarification.
• Evaluates information from third-party providers and determines if it aligns with project requirements.
• Collaborates with Sales, Innovation, and Project Management to confirm feasibility and resolve issues.
• Reviews production drawings and configuration details prior to release and identifies corrective actions.
• Provides input into hour estimates and supports planning for engineering tasks based on project complexity.
• Ensures engineering deliverables are accurate, consistent, and ready for downstream teams.
