Job summary

Qualifications

  • Requires a degree in mechanical engineering or international equivalent.
  • 3D modeling and CNC programming experience.
  • Proficient with manual mills and lathes; familiar with CAD/CAM and Fusion360.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and evaluate mechanical components, products, and systems using applied mechanical engineering principles.
  • Create prototypes and evaluate designs to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and failure analysis to ensure design reliability.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and manufacturing to ensure proper execution of designs.
  • Create and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics; draft with CAD tools.
  • May manage project schedules and budgets and approve designs affecting safety and welfare.
