Job summary

Huxley is recruiting Mechanical Engineers in a fully remote role to help train next-generation AI using real-world mechanical engineering expertise. You will design tasks such as component sizing, CAD reviews, tolerance analyses, and DFMA assessments, then evaluate AI outputs against professional standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency with CAD, FEA/CFD, MATLAB, or Python.

Qualifications

• Design tasks for AI training, including component sizing and tolerance analysis.
• Review CAD outputs and verify against engineering standards.
• Perform thermal, structural, or fluid analyses when required.
• Document findings with clear, concise written communication.

Job description

Help train next-generation AI using your real-world mechanical engineering expertise.

We’re seeking Mechanical Engineers to create and evaluate realistic engineering challenges for leading AI models. You’ll design tasks based on actual engineering work, such as component sizing, CAD reviews, tolerance stack-ups, DFM/DFA assessments, thermal or fluid analyses, and failure investigations, then assess AI-generated outputs against professional standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience preferred
• Degree (completed or in progress) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in areas such as design, manufacturing, structural, thermal, fluids, HVAC, aerospace, automotive, robotics, energy, or medical devices
• Familiarity with CAD, FEA/CFD, MATLAB, Python, or similar engineering tools
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
