Job summary

Performance Engineering Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Jacksonville, FL office. You will design and document mechanical systems for commercial and industrial facilities, using Revit/BIM and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical engineering design experience on commercial and/or industrial projects.
• Experience using Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical engineering designs, calculations, and construction documents.
• Develop HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system designs for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Utilize Revit/BIM software for project design and coordination.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and contractors.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field investigations.
• Support commissioning activities and provide technical expertise throughout project execution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
