Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to design and lead large heating and cooling plant projects. The role covers drawings, specs, cost estimates, and design narratives with technical leadership across the team.

You will coordinate with stakeholders and support construction administration through meetings, shop drawing reviews, and site visits. A PE license and ABET degree are required, with 7+ years of design/construction experience.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• PE license is required or active licensure in process.
• 7+ years of design and construction administration experience.

Job description

Design and analyze mechanical systems for large heating and cooling plants, producing project drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design narratives. Provide technical leadership to engineers and designers, coordinate with project stakeholders, and support construction administration through meetings, shop drawing reviews, and site visits.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, a Professional Engineer license, and more than seven years of engineering design and construction administration experience. Candidates should be proficient in Autodesk Revit and experienced in fieldwork; institutional infrastructure systems and ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code experience are preferred.
