Job summary

Helion in the United States seeks a mechanical/manufacturing engineer to develop and update CAD layouts and drawings for our assembly lines. You will support fixture design, evaluate assembly tools and presses, and help design workstation layouts with a focus on ergonomics and material flow.

You will participate in installation, run trials, and production handoff to ensure a smooth transfer from design to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience in an assembly environment.
• Experience taking processes from drawings to floor implementation; working with fixtures, tooling, presses, and workstation ergonomics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update CAD layouts and drawings for assembly lines.
• Support fixture design and tooling selection.
• Evaluate assembly tools and presses for efficiency and reliability.
• Design workstation layouts, addressing ergonomics and material flow.
• Assist with installation, trial runs, and production handoff.
