Mechanical Engineer (Aggregates/Cement/MSHA/Mining)

Location: Tijeras NM

Manufacturing/Mining Company

Relocation: Yes ~$10k

Base Salary: $85k-$110k+ (DOE)

Bonus: 10%

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in aggregates to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimization of equipment used in mining and cement production, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for aggregates processing and production equipment.
• Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of existing machinery to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment in the aggregates and cement industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Manage CAPEX projects related to mechanical upgrades and installations in the facility.
• Conduct regular maintenance assessments and develop maintenance schedules for equipment in the aggregates sector.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree.
• Proven experience in the aggregates, mining, or cement industries.
• Proficient in CAD software for designing mechanical systems.
