Job summary

Formlabs is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Boston to prototype new mechanisms, analyze and iterate electro-mechanical systems, and create precise CAD drawings using Solidworks or Onshape.

You will collaborate with Global Sourcing and Manufacturing to scale designs from prototype to mass production and push the boundaries of desktop 3D printing with a focus on reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

• Prototype new mechanisms, test materials, and research 3D printing challenges.
• Analyze, test, validate and iterate on electro-mechanical systems.
• Create detailed CAD drawings and well-specified designs.
