Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years of experience in the power industry.
• Strong academic background and interest in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, power engineering, turbomachinery, thermal systems, and energy conversion.
• Proficient in preparing calculations and technical reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations, evaluations, and technical reports to support client recommendations.
• Conduct equipment sizing, optimization evaluation, and selection per project needs.
• Support project teams with system engineering: design, modification, and analysis of power plant mechanical systems.
• Possibility of travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and field verification.
