Job summary

Burke Porter, an Ascential Technologies Brand, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead complete machine design with minimal supervision, delivering robust concepts from concept to prototype.

You will communicate with customers, product and project managers, and team members to meet customer requirements, plan schedules, and coordinate multiple projects; you will also support manufacturing and assembly, and train other engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide a complete machine design with minimal assistance
• Ensure effective communication with customers, product and project managers, and team members in machine design with respect to customer requirements, operator operation, and schedule planning while managing multiple projects
• Support during part manufacturing and machine assembly as required for multiple projects
• Train other Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Techs
