Job summary

Bedford Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to learn how things work, troubleshoot, and design new manufacturing equipment. The role covers research, planning, design and construction of equipment, plus developing new processes to improve current operations.

Duties include equipment design, process improvements, and creating production processes for new products. Travel up to 10% to support sales or customer testing, with responsibilities across production and testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1–3 years of design experience.
• 3D CAD experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience with statistical process tools.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid Real ID license.

Responsibilities
