Scope
Perform mechanical engineering analysis, calculations, design, and documentation.
Support production units on assigned projects.
Develop, change, and maintain accurate drawings and bills of materials.
Establish and maintain engineering standards.
Collaborate closely with production to ensure designs meet specifications.
Education
BSME in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent education/experience.
Experience & Requirements
5–7 years engineering experience (capital equipment, machine tools, automation, or stamping press design preferred).
Knowledge of: DFM/DFA procedures and processes.
Machining operations.
AutoCAD, FEA, kinematics, thermal analysis.
MECHANICA/ANSYS and Pro/Engineer (preferred).
OSHA, ANSI, CSA standards.
