PrideNow is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Level 4 to join a leading global semiconductor technology company at the forefront of advanced etch and deposition solutions. You will design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, taking designs from concept and CAD modeling through testing and validation.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on experience (or 6+ with a Master’s), strong CAD skills (Siemens NX), vacuum and RF/high-voltage knowledge, and a solid background in heat transfer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
  • Hands-on mechanical design and experimental engineering experience.
  • Advanced 3D CAD experience, especially Siemens NX.
  • Experience with vacuum system design and RF/high-voltage applications.
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer and RCCA/FMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems.
  • Work with metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.
  • Perform structural, thermal, heat transfer, stress, vibration, fluid, and gas-flow analysis.
  • Develop feasibility studies, test plans, and validation strategies.
  • Apply GD&T and ensure designs meet industry and engineering standards.
  • Lead technical problem-solving, including FMEA, RCCA, and risk analysis.
  • Prepare technical reports, design reviews, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional engineering groups.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer Level 4 to join a leading global semiconductor technology company at the forefront of innovation in advanced etch and deposition solutions.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER 4

2-year contract | Potential extension

This is an opportunity to work on highly sophisticated mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, taking designs from concept and CAD modeling through testing, validation, and productization.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems
  • Work with metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings
