Westmor Industries is seeking a Design Engineer in Shawnee, KS to design layouts and analyze truck and trailer equipment. You will implement product improvements and ensure designs meet Western Industries standards and customer requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on CAD/CAE experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, Ansys). This on-site role offers full benefits and opportunities for growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Training and/or experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and Ansys or similar software packages.

Job Description

A Design Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Design Layouts
• Perform design analysis for truck and trailer equipment
• Implement product improvements in an evolving industry
• Evaluate and implement design changes
• Projects are functional, easily manufactured, and meet customer expectations
• Dedication to research and development of products
• Designs meet Westmor Industries engineering standards
• Design analyses, drawings, and bills of materials are accurate
• Other duties as assigned
