A reputable engineering consultancy in Northern California is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to mentor junior engineers and design energy-efficient building systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with architects and clients, reviewing contractor submissions, and ensuring compliance with engineering codes. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of mechanical consulting experience, holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, and is experienced with AutoCAD and REVIT. Overview

Our client is a very well-established ESCO who is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team within the Northern California market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate and mentor junior engineers to design the mechanical and plumbing components of energy-efficient buildings.
• Knowledge of building life safety, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire, codes including ICC Standards, NFPA, FM Global, and Federal Standards
• Research new client design proposal specifications, manuals, cost, and maintenance requirements
• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings
• Assist meetings with architects, clients, and building owners

Requirements

• 5+ years of mechanical consulting engineering experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed PE or EIT
• AutoCAD & REVIT experience
