You will work on sensor mounting systems, ruggedized enclosures, vehicle retrofit kits, and electromechanical assemblies, moving between CAD, prototyping, vehicle installation, and field debugging in a fast-paced setting.
We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team and help develop the physical autonomy systems that enable large-scale mining vehicles to operate autonomously. In this role, you will own mechanical designs from concept through deployment, designing, building, validating, and integrating the hardware that allows sensors, actuators, compute systems, and drive‑by‑wire components to operate reliably in harsh real-world environments.
This role sits at the intersection of mechanical engineering, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and heavy equipment integration. You will work on everything from sensor mounting systems and ruggedized enclosures to vehicle retrofit kits and electromechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate enjoys owning hardware through the full product lifecycle and is comfortable moving between CAD design, prototyping, vehicle installation, and field debugging.
This role is based out in San Francisco office and work onsite, five days a week.
Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
