Jobot in Salt Lake City, UT is actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop complex mechanical systems that power real-world applications. The role is on-site and involves taking projects from concept through manufacturing while collaborating with manufacturing, project, and field teams.

You will design equipment, create 3D models and drawings in Autodesk Inventor, develop BOMs, and ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor strongly preferred.
• Experience designing mechanical equipment, machinery, or automated systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with welded structures, sheet metal, fabricated components, bearings, shafts, motors, or similar machine components is a plus.
• Ability to take projects from concept through detailed design and manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on engineering mindset.
