Job summary

Job Details
  • Location: Richmond, BC V6X 3M1 (On site)
  • Salary: $3,063 monthly (30 hours per week)
  • Employment Terms: Full time, term or contract
  • Availability: On call
  • Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
  • Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
  • Prepare reports
  • Provide technical and professional advice
  • Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Provide technical support for research
Qualifications
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role
  • Equipment and machinery experience: Forklift
