Job summary

TechDoQuest in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a hands-on Test Technician focused on mechanical and environmental testing for development projects. You will execute tests according to written instructions and help prepare test samples using basic tools.

You will operate and monitor tests such as drop, vibration, and strength tests, record data accurately, and perform visual inspections for defects. The role supports engineers by assembling fixtures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical testing (static/dynamic, shock, drop, vibration).
• Ability to follow detailed engineering instructions and protocols.
• Familiarity with basic test equipment and data recording tools.

Job description

Types of Testing Involved:

• Mechanical Loading: Shock, drop, vibration, strength etc .
• Environmental: Water spraying , other environment simulation as provided
• Occasional Electrical Testing.
