Job description

This role will primarily perform mechanical design verification testing.

Job Purpose

Works under limited supervision to support R&D engineers, scientists, and project teams in the development, verification, and analysis of products, materials, processes, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform test method and equipment qualifications.
• Conduct mechanical design verification testing.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in alignment with Quality Systems and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Build quality into all aspects of work by ensuring compliance with applicable requirements and standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficient in test methodologies; mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow technical directions with attention to detail.
• No chemistry background required.

Preferred Skills

• Mechanical testing experience (<1 year acceptable).
• Test result documentation experience (<1 year acceptable).
• General mechanical ability to support hands-on test activities.
