This entry level position involves designing, costing, quoting, and managing projects related to factory automation. Initially, there will be a significant focus on machine frame and guarding designs comprised of RobotUnits brand aluminum extrusion products. You will work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions, generate project documentation, and provide technical support to colleagues and customers. This includes hands‑on involvement in the production process, from prototype development to final inspection.
All engineering team members may also be responsible for managing projects through the production process and taking necessary steps to maintain schedules. The project management tasks include regular updates to management or customers, daily guidance to assembly technicians, participation in the final inspection, and testing completed systems.
