Job description

Senior Mechanical Engineer supporting the development of next-generation semiconductor test equipment. This person will own and contribute to complex mechanical and electro-mechanical designs, taking high-level product requirements and turning them into reliable mechanical solutions. The role is heavily focused on CAD design, FEA, GD&T, hardware platform development, and working cross-functionally to evaluate design tradeoffs, requirements, and technical risks.

Location: North Reading, MA

Contract: 12 months

Pay Rate: $60-$75 per hour

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10–15 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
• Complex electro-mechanical systems background
• Strong SOLIDWORKS / CAD ownership
• FEA experience with SolidWorks Simulation and/or ANSYS
• Strong GD&T experience
• PDM and/or Teamcenter experience
• Hardware platform development experience
