Their primary focus is on optimizing the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.**Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Designing and implementing mechanical systems, components, and tools for manufacturing processes.* Conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and maintenance, to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure smooth operations.* Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.* Performing risk assessments and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical problems during production.* Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs.* Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for new product development or process optimization.* Collaborating with suppliers to select and procure appropriate materials, equipment, and components for manufacturing processes.* Implementing and overseeing quality control measures to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.* Participating in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes through the application of lean principles and other methodologies.* Other duties as assigned.## Qualifications**Experience and Education*** Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field* 2-5 years of experience working in engineering* Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products* Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems.* Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.* Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability* Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.* Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.**Work Environment/Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
