Job summary

Critical Loop, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to own the design and production readiness of power-distribution products and packaged power-conversion skids in Long Beach.

You will coordinate suppliers, oversee manufacturing, and maintain comprehensive documentation while actively building, inspecting, and troubleshooting hardware. The role requires 4+ years of experience, a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent, and hands-on hardware work with switchgear or similar

Qualifications

• Requires at least four years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent training.
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical training is required.
• Experience with switchgear or similar electromechanical power equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, coordinate suppliers, oversee manufacturing and production readiness.
• Maintain accurate engineering and production documentation.
• Build, inspect, and troubleshoot hardware on-site.
• Resolve supplier, fit-up, quality, and schedule issues.

Job description

Own the design, supplier coordination, manufacturing, and production readiness of power-distribution products and packaged power-conversion skids. Maintain accurate engineering and production documentation, and personally build, inspect, and troubleshoot hardware while resolving supplier, fit-up, quality, and schedule issues.

Requirements:

Requires at least four years of experience, a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical training, and experience with switchgear or similar electromechanical power equipment. Candidates must be skilled in CAD, GD&T, drawings, BOMs, change control, supplier and production issue ownership, and hands‑on hardware work, and must be able to work full‑time on‑site in Long Beach.
