Data Security, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical and electromechanical subsystems for industrial and commercial use in Lincoln, Nebraska.
This role involves collaborating with engineering teams and vendors to develop innovative products that meet market needs. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years in mechanical design, and familiarity with Autodesk Inventor and 3D printing, including Bambu Labs printers.

The Mechanical Engineer position is responsible for the design of mechanical and electromechanical subsystems and products. Through innovation, efficiency and principled design practices, this position works as a member of the engineering team to fulfill market driven needs.
This job operates in a professional office environment, a manufacturing floor, and an engineering lab.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand. The employee is occasionally required to bend, twist or reach as well as lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision preferred and the ability to adjust focus between multiple tasks.

Engineering Manager
40 hours per week, must be available 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. While travel is rare, must be willing to travel/work outside of normal business hours.
