Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for 12 month Contract job with a client in Erie, PA 16531 (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Automobile industry is a must.

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hr on W2, all-inclusive (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Required Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 3-6 years of engineering experience
• Experience supporting manufacturing and validation testing
• Experience with 3D CAD tools and engineering drawings
• Strong mechanical systems, fluid flow, and thermal management knowledge
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Locomotive, rail, heavy equipment, or industrial product experience
• Unigraphics NX or similar CAD systems
• GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, validation methods
• Ventilation, cooling, thermal management experience

Experience in locomotive, rail, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial products is a strong plus.
