Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading manufacturing and technology client. You will support server hardware manufacturing, review drawings, troubleshoot assembly issues, and develop solutions to improve manufacturability.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years of related experience, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD), and hands-on production exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or closely related field.
• 2+ years of mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, server manufacturing, or high-volume environments strongly preferred.
• Hands-on production/mfg-floor engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for server, rack, chassis, enclosure, and related hardware manufacturing operations.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements, and BOMs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues involving chassis, brackets, fasteners, rails, heatsinks, fans, cables, connectors, and structural components.
• Investigate fit, form, function, alignment, interference, tolerance, fastening, and assembly-related problems.
• Develop engineering solutions to improve manufacturability, assembly quality, and product reliability.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing, quality, and new product development teams. Pay Range:$70 - $120

What's the Job?
