Kimberly-Clark in Corinth, MS is seeking a manufacturing engineer to lead process improvements, champion safety and environmental compliance, and partner with operations, maintenance, and vendors to meet plant objectives.

You will apply engineering principles, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive TPM/RCM initiatives while leveraging SAP and other asset-management tools. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring 3+ years of experience and a collaborative work style.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in an Engineering related-discipline.
  • 3+ years of technical, operation or co-op/intern experience.
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to improve teamwork and drive results.
  • Knowledge and/or background in Manufacturing/production including a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process.

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety, environmental compliance, and risk prevention through equipment design, process improvements, and leadership.
  • Provide technical leadership for optimization of tissue converting equipment and processes.
  • Apply engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management methodologies to drive business results.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and operational issues, including root cause elimination.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, reliability, and external vendors to achieve plant objectives.
  • Deliver on-call and on-site technical support as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, quality, and productivity.

About You

  • Championing safety, environmental compliance, and risk preventionthrough equipment design, process improvements, and leadership.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in an Engineering related-discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of technical , operation or co-op/intern experience.
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to improve teamwork and drive results.
  • Knowledge and/or background in Manufacturing/production including a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in SAP and experienced in asset maintenance and reliability programs.
  • Knowledge of the following Process Technologies: Merging Tissue-making Applications contributing to Converting Processes.
  • Winding and Web Handling experience.
  • OEM Equipment Design.
  • Experience in: Infrastructure systems maintenance, TALCM (Total Asset Life Cycle Maximization), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) process, and/or Project management certification.
