Job description

We’re seeking Mechanical Engineers to join an established engineering organization developing highly engineered mechanical systems for demanding aerospace and advanced technology applications.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, performance-critical products where mechanical design, fluid dynamics, structural analysis, materials, testing, and manufacturing all come together. Multiple openings are available, with flexibility to hire at the Mechanical Engineer II, III, or IV level based on experience and technical depth.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll contribute across the product development lifecycle, from requirements and early-stage design through analysis, testing, validation, production support, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Design and development of complex mechanical and fluid-system components and assemblies
  • Translating customer and system-level requirements into practical engineering solutions
  • Performing engineering analysis involving fluid dynamics, stress and strain, vibration, statics and dynamics, and strength of materials
  • Creating and evaluating 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, tolerance stack-ups, and GD&T
  • Performing finite element analysis (FEA) to support design decisions and product validation
  • Selecting materials, coatings, and heat treatments based on performance and application requirements
  • Developing test plans and using experimental results to validate designs
  • Supporting root-cause investigations and corrective actions for technical issues
  • Partnering with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, program management, and other engineering disciplines
  • Balancing performance, reliability, producibility, quality, schedule, and cost
  • Preparing technical documentation, reports, analyses, and design presentations
  • Participating in continuous-improvement initiatives and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship as experience level increases
Key areas of experience
  • 3+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience
  • Mechanical component and system design
  • Statics and dynamics
  • Stress and strain analysis
  • Strength of materials
  • Vibration
  • Metallurgy and material selection
  • Coatings and heat treatments
  • Engineering drawings and tolerance stack-ups
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA); ANSYS experience is highly desirable
  • 3D CAD; Creo experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work through technically complex problems with limited supervision
Multiple positions are available:
  • Mechanical Engineer II: Typically 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Mechanical Engineer III: Typically 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Mechanical Engineer IV: Typically 8+ years of relevant experience with increased technical leadership and ownership
