System One is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support our client site in Carlisle, PA.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to exciting, high-impact projects in the glass and heavy industrial sectors as part of a dynamic engineering team. You'll be responsible for a mix of planning, technical execution, vendor coordination, and document development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and plan engineering scopes and project timelines
• Write and review technical specifications and bid evaluations
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and manpower forecasts
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, vendors, and procurement
• Perform reviews and squad checks of vendor data and drawings
• Apply knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Develop construction work packages (CWPs) and contractor bid documentation
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal systems and processes
Qualifications:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
• 4–9 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Field/site experience in the glass or heavy industrial industry
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience with equipment design and conveyor systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Project)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior client-facing experience is strongly preferred
