Job summary

Thomas Young Group in Boston is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design and development of mechanical systems for healthcare, science, and technology projects.

You will collaborate with clients, architects, and engineering teams to define specs, prepare construction documents, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role demands strong PM skills and proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in healthcare, science, and technology projects.
• PE license is required.
• HVAC and plumbing design for healthcare and research facilities.
• Familiar with codes, standards and regulations specific to healthcare and technology projects.
• Proficient with mechanical design software (Revit, AutoCAD, and others).
• Strong project management skills including timelines, budgets and resources.
