Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, a Texas PE, and 10+ years in HVAC design with healthcare portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas required.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC design (airside and hydronic) with healthcare project portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead projects from conception to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for healthcare projects (hospitals, labs).
• Mentor and supervise engineering staff; assign stretch assignments.
• Champion evidence-based design for sustainability and patient outcomes.
• Build and maintain client relationships; contribute to strategy and repeat business.
• Represent the firm at professional associations and industry events; present to diverse audiences.

What you'll be doing:

Lead mechanical design for healthcare projects, including hospitals and labs

Mentor and supervise engineering staff, fostering growth through stretch assignments

Champion evidence-based design that supports sustainability and patient outcomes

Build and maintain client relationships, contributing to strategy and repeat business

Represent the firm in professional associations and industry events

Present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we're looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas

10+ years of experience in HVAC design (airside and hydronic), with a strong portfolio of healthcare projects

Skilled at leading projects from concept through commissioning

Confident communicator with strong client-facing abilities and cross-disciplinary coordination skills
