Job summary

LiquidPiston is seeking an Engine Design Engineer to drive concept-to-production engine systems, with a focus on high-performance powertrains. You will contribute to design decisions and collaborate across engineering functions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in engine design, strong thermodynamics/combustion knowledge, and hands-on prototyping experience using SolidWorks, GT-Power, and AVL.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in engine design or complex mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, combustion, and mechanical integration.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As an Engine Design Engineer at LiquidPiston, you’ll work on cutting‑edge engine systems from concept through to production. This role is highly collaborative and hands‑on—ideal for engineers passionate about innovation and performance.
